What the explorer can and cannot tell you
Exact-kanji filters require the selected character(s) to occur in the same JMnedict written form. Morae are calculated from the source-recorded kana reading. Gender labels reflect dictionary classifications in the imported records. “Most corpus spelling variants” measures source-record coverage only; it is not a popularity ranking in Japan.
